We created this limited edition t-shirt, featuring the design of local artist Julie Sprinkle, to benefit efforts to preserve local open spaces Section 16 and White Acres.
Friends of Red Rock Canyon and the Palmer Land Trust partnered to protect the White Acres landscape from development. We are excited to announce that these organizations met their fundraising goal of $75,000 and were able to preserve White Acres as open space.
Recently, Colorado Springs city council approved the purchase of Section 16 open space. The open space is a valuable wildlife corridor and is home to a popular network of trails, and this was an important step toward its preservation. The Palmer Land Trust, however, is spearheading a citizens' effort to raise the $40,000 it takes to place the property under conservation easement to ensure its protection completely. 100% of the sales from our remaining t-shirts will go toward this cause.
Thanks to everyone who has supported the preservation of these lands!
The black and natural colors are unisex fit/sizing. We are also offering a women's crewneck in white and a women's v-neck in light blue (pebble). The women's sizes seem to run a little small.
