CityRock Climbing Gyms

Both CityROCK gyms, located in Colorado Springs and Monument, have climbing for all ages and abilities, with top-roping, lead climbing, cracks, overhangs, and challenging boulder problems. They offer a number of programs, including parties, after-school classes, and a climbing team.

Colorado Avalanche Information Center

The CAIC offers detailed, frequently updated forecasts for backcountry conditions across Colorado during snow seasons. Check for avalanche warnings, weather conditions, and road closures if you are planning to ice climb or ski in the backcountry.

OverhangEl Paso County Search and Rescue

El Paso County Search and Rescue is a mountain search and rescue unit dedicated to saving lives through search, rescue, and mountain safety education. This highly trained team is composed entirely of volunteers and does not charge a fee for its services.

Friends of Red Rock Canyon

A non-profit organization dedicated to supporting Red Rock Canyon Open Space, a popular hiking and climbing area in west Colorado Springs. The site has maps, educational descriptions, directions, and volunteer opportunities.

Front Range Climbing Company

This guiding service has more climbing clients annually than anyone other company in Colorado, offering year-round adventures. They are also the exclusive guide service for the Garden of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center.

Garden of the Gods Visitor Center

Maps and directions to the park, climbing regulations, and information about getting a climbing permit. This free permit is necessary for climbing and bouldering in Garden of the Gods, Red Rock Canyon, Cheyenne Cañon, and Ute Valley Park in Colorado Springs.

Sport Climbing Center

Sport climbing gym located at 4650 Northpark Drive in Colorado Springs. Over 13,000 sq. ft. of sculpted climbing surface for leading, toproping or bouldering. There are routes for all ages and abilities. Special events are available, including parties, outdoor guiding, and competitions.
