CityRock Climbing Gym
CityRock gym, located in downtown Colorado Springs, has climbing for all ages and abilities, with top-roping, lead climbing, cracks, overhangs, and challenging boulder problems. They offer a number of programs, including parties, after-school classes, and a climbing team.
Colorado Avalanche Information Center
The CAIC offers detailed, frequently updated forecasts for backcountry conditions across Colorado during snow seasons. Check for avalanche warnings, weather conditions, and road closures if you are planning to ice climb or ski in the backcountry.
El Paso County Search and Rescue
A mountain search and rescue unit dedicated to saving lives through search, rescue, and mountain safety education. This highly trained team is composed entirely of volunteers and does not charge a fee for its services.

Sport Climbing Center
The Sport Climbing Center is a gym located at 4650 Northpark Drive in Colorado Springs. It has over 13,000 sq. ft. of sculpted climbing surface for leading, toproping or bouldering. There are routes for all ages and abilities. Special events are available, including parties, outdoor guiding, and competitions.
Trails and Open Space Coalition
A non-profit organization working to preserve open space and rural land, and to create a network of trails, bikeways and greenways in the Pikes Peak region. The site has hiking news, trail descriptions, events, and volunteer opportunities.
